Traffic Impact Assessment on Buildings and Structures

To lower the traffic impact in near neighborhoods of the traffic derived after site development, for buildings in Kaohsiung City with parking spaces or development or building area changes in compliance with Article 2, paragraph 1, “Regulations for Building Traffic Impact Assessment,” contractors shall submit a traffic impact evaluation (TIA) report to the TIA Review Board of Kaohsiung City for the Transportation Bureau (TBKC) to review in collaboration with the related units, including the Public Works Bureau (PWBKC), Kaohsiung City Police Department (KCPD), and Urban Development Bureau (UDBKC) and experts and scholars. Between January and August 2021, a total of 11 TIA meetings were held to review 37 TIA reports.
