Total Empowerment of Accessible Off-Street Public Parking
Update:110-12-20
To improve the quality of off-street parking in Kaohsiung City for persons with disabilities and limited mobility to access car parks and operate pay and display machines more conveniently, under the direction of Mayor Chi-Mai Chen, TBKC examined the ease of access of all accessible facilities in each of nearly 1,000 private car parks. The examination items included ramp and access accessibility and the positioning (elevation) of pay and display machines from the floor. In less than a half year, the improvement of car-park accessibility was completed in over 1,000 private car parks by the end of March 2021.
