Fine payment methods

  1. Paying fines at the center
    • Cash payment
    • For license suspension cases .
    • Retrieval of articles under custody
  2. Paying fines at post office counters
    • The option of making payment at post offices is indicated in the upper left column of the tickets
    • Payment can be made regardless of overdue fines or not
    • For immediate case closure, an additional charge of $10 will be collected for each case
  3. Purchasing postal money orders at post offices
    • The option of making payment at post offices is indicated in the upper left column of the tickets
    • Payment can be made regardless of overdue fines or not
    • Mail money orders, original tickets (or judgments), and violators’ names, phone numbers, and addresses to the Traffic Violation Arbitration Center via registered mail
  4. Paying fines at banks
    • The option of making payment at post offices is indicated in the upper left column of the tickets
    • Not available for overdue tickets
    • Bank of Kaohsiung
    • 5 working days are required before cases are closed
  5. Paying fines online
    • Apply for certification first at the Government Certification Authority (GCA). GCA website: 
  6. Voice transfer payment with credit or debit cards
    • The option of making payment at post offices is indicated in the upper left column of the tickets
    • Available for vehicle owners or drivers who have credit cards or current accounts (debit cards)
    • Only applicable to touch-tone phones; Voice Line: 412-6666; User Code 168
  7. Paying fines at convenience stores (collection)
    • The option of making payment at post offices or convenience stores is indicated in the tickets
    • Not available for overdue tickets
    • Tickets with 3-part barcode
    • Available at 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, OK, and Hi-Life convenience stores
    • An additional charge of $6 will be collected for each case
    • 3 working days are required before cases are closed
  8. Paying fines at convenience stores (real-time connection)
    • For unpresented tickets, overdue fine payment, and judgments
    • No 3-part barcode on tickets, or tickets with 3-part barcode which need to be closed immediately
    • Only available at Hi-Life and 7-ELEVEN convenience stores
    • For immediate case closure, an additional charge of $13 will be collected for each case
